However, they've won the gold and bronze medals once each in the FIBA World Cup, each with a total of seven appearances.
They've made 25 appearances at the Eurobasket and have won one gold, one silver, and one bronze medal.

The Spain men's national basketball team joined the FIBA in 1934.
They've had 14 appearances at the Olympic Games winning the silver medal thrice and the bronze medal once. They also participated in FIBA World Cup thirteen times and won the gold medal only twice.
At the Eurobasket, the team participated in 32 events, winning the gold medal four times, the silver medal six times, and the bronze medal four times.
