Last Sunday, the Atlanta Hawks utterly dismantled the LA Clippers during the games. Still, the only good news that saved the team was that James Harden's performance brought a silver ray of hope and made remarkable history in the process.

Sunday night's game was undoubtedly the Clippers' worst loss of the season. The whole team was down by up to 29 points to an Atlanta Hawks team at home, without excluding Trae Young and other players.

The Hawks also had more assists, much more than the Clippers were able to make the basket.

It seems that the LA Clippers had everything they needed on Sunday night. They dodged an early start time and got James Harden back. They combated a losing team without its leading turn, but it turned out not enough, as the team ended up with the worst performance in the season.

James Harden appeared back on the starting line after a long absence in two games.

The 2018 MVP title holder made remarkable history when he surprisingly moved ahead of Vince Carter, who is 20th (25,728) on the scoring list of all time.

After moving ahead of Carter, the next player that Harden would outdo is Hall of Farmer Kevin Garnet (26,071)

That evening, James Harden averaged 17.4 points, 1.1 steals, 5.1 rebounds, and 8.3 assists while shooting 44.2% from the field and 40.3% in 59 games from all three points.

The LA Clippers have always been classified as the best team. They are also the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a record of 42-24 in 66 games.

During the 2009 NBA Draft out of Arizona State, Harden was picked third, and he's in his 15th season in the league.

Over the last ten games, the team went 5-5 and recently lost to Brandon Ingram and the New Orleans Pelicans by 112-104.

James Harden's Clippers stats are quite remarkable. In addition to his role with the Clippers, Harden has also played for the Brooklyn Nets, the Houston Rockets, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

After the contest with the  Hawks, the Clippers will be playing their next game, the Portland Trail Blazers, on Wednesday evening in Oregon.

The LA Clippers were looking forward to getting the 1st seed just a few weeks ago, and now, they're left with only one game to the 5th seed. A miracle has to happen.
