LeBron James Openly Affirms His Admiration For Steph Curry's Performance In Recent Games
The reigning NBA star, Steph Curry is everyone's favorite, including LeBron James! The Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James took to Twitter to shower Steph Curry with compliments after he helped his team, the Warriors, to score against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday in a 125-116 win.
Everyone who watched the game was impressed by Curry's game which makes the record for the most three-pointers in NBA history. James expressed his admiration for the rising star in a recent interview describing him as "a once-in-a-lifetime player".
"We're all witnesses to what Steph Curry has done in his career and the way that he's changed the game," he said.
When asked about his thoughts on Curry's fast-rising career and how he stood a chance to beat the record of the current NBA record holder, Ray Allen, He expressed his optimism stating that he thinks Ray would be happy to have someone like Curry be the one to beat his exceeding record.
"Listen, I know Ray. I know the work that he put into it. And if there's one guy he has to let pass his record, it being Steph, I know Ray is grateful that it would be such a guy like that. Pretty cool accomplishment," he said.
LeBron James' open admiration for Steph Curry proves that there is no bad blood between the best players in the NBA despite playing for rival teams in the past. "I am going to congratulate him in person, he said.
As everyone awaits the beginning of a new record in the upcoming games against Sixers, Indiana Pacers, and New York Knicks, Allen also shared his thoughts about the NBA star in an interview with NBA.com.
"He's on his level, one he made for himself. He's done such a great job and he has such great character as a person, and you root for people like that. He's getting everything he deserves," he said
