In a thrilling display of basketball prowess, Team USA took on Germany, and LeBron James and Steph Curry stole the show. The two NBA superstars led Team USA to a hard-fought 92-88 victory, showcasing their incredible skills and clutch genes, leaving fans in awe.

The first-time Olympian Stephen Curry, nominated LeBron James, to be Team USA's Flag Bearer at the 2024 Paris Olympics. And he proved why he's the perfect choice for the role, leading Team USA to victory with a team-high 20 points with six rebounds, four assists, one block, and one steal.

LeBron James scored Team USA's last 11 points, helping them overcome a late-game deficit against Germany and build momentum heading into the Olympics as shown by the USA.com game cast.

Steph Curry, on the other hand, had a bit of an off day from beyond the arc, making only one of his seven 3-point attempts. However, he still managed to score 13 points on 5 of 13 shooting and had some big-time drives to the basket, finishing with a team-high plus-10.

The match against Germany was a statement game for Team USA, who entered the day ranked No. 1 in FIBA, while Germany was only two spots behind at No. 3.

The win made Team USA a perfect 5-0 in their Showcase ahead of the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, starting on Friday.

Germany was trailing by nine points in the first half. However, their third quarter run allowed them to lead 71-68 in the fourth quarter.

The German team took the lead 82-80  with 4 minutes and 37 seconds left in the match. But that's when LeBron James came to life and helped Team USA complete the  win.

Orlando Magic's forward Franz Wagner contributed to the German team with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Wagner's younger brother Moritz came off the bench and contributed 12 points and 7 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Team USA also supported LeBron James' efforts with five double-digit figures. Participants include Joel Embiid (15), Stephen Curry (13), Anthony Edwards (11), Anthony Davis (10), and Jrue Holiday (10).

Joel Embiid and Anthony Edwards gave fans a jaw-dropping moment on both sides of the ball, with Embiid pinning a dunk attempt against the backboard and Edwards grabbing the loose ball and going coast-to-coast for a ridiculous made shot.

LeBron James' performance was nothing short of amazing, considering he's the oldest player on Team USA's Olympic roster at 39. He's emerged as one of the team's top contributors, and his feats are a testament to his enduring greatness.

As the Olympic heats up, Team USA's official Olympic game begins on July 28, and they look to continue gaining chemistry and momentum heading into the tournament. With the combined talent, experience and clutch gene of LeBron James and Steph Curry leading the charge, the two players will lead the team to the gold. Only time will tell who will emerge the winner, but one thing is certain - LeBron and Steph are the ultimate duo.
