For the first time in over seven years, 3 Italian teams made it to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. The last time this happened was in the 2005-06 season. Napoli, Inter Milan, and AC Milan progressed to the UCL quarter-final draw after beating Eintracht Frankfurt, Porto, and Tottenham.

Now the three teams will be looking to move further to the next stage of the competition.

Each of the three Italian teams has their playing style, but they ensured they made it to the next stage of the UCL. For Napoli, it majorly depends on their attacking flair, with their new starman Victor Osimhen providing he keeps them alive. The other Italian teams, AC and Inter Milan rely on their unbreakable defense to remain in the UCL fixtures. It was even better to learn that all three teams made it to the quarter-finals of the UCL without conceding a goal in the round of 16. This sparks expectations that the UCL might witness similar greatness of Italian teams in the 1980s.

Between the three teams, only Napoli has a solid chance of making it to the next stage of the competition. Napoli has been simply unstoppable in any match they have played this season. Their domestic league campaign is nearly perfect, as they are more than 15 points ahead as the league leaders. This has been seen in Serie A in less than five years. Their European campaign has been great, too, as they scored 5 goals without conceding any during the round of 16 games against Eintracht Frankfurt. While Inter and AC Milan have equal chances, they have some serious doubts about their attack. Their defense has been impeccable, but they must improve massively in their attacking play to have a fair chance of making it past the quarter-finals.

Napoli is Ahead of other Italian Teams

Currently, Napoli is undoubtedly the best Italian team at the moment, ahead of Inter and AC Milan. One of the major reasons Napoli is ahead of other Italian teams is their attacking football. The Italian team is ahead of every other team on the list, both tactically and in physical strength. At the beginning of the season, Napoli fans would have doubted that their team would have made it to the UCL quarter-finals. Despite losing their major players, such as Lorenzo Insigne, Kalidou Koulibaly, Fabian Ruiz, and Davide Ospina, last summer, Napoli has bounced back better than ever.

They are playing the best football in Europe and are set to win their league for the first time in 30 years. Things changed massively for the Italian team, with Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia leading the line. Luciano Spalletti has got Napoli playing excellent football with his 4-2-3-1 system that allows them to attack fast and decisively. Their intensity while playing football is so great that even Premier League clubs will have difficulty playing against them. They look forward to continuing their form in the UEFA Champions League. In the UCL quarter-final draw, they might face one of the Italian teams (AC Milan or Inter Milan). Whoever they face, Napoli fans trust their team well enough for them to conquer any team in the UCL.
