Cam Newton is finally showing the football world what he can do after participating in the Auburns Pro Day. Cam Newton has not played professional football since the 2021 season and would be looking to return within the 2023 season. After not playing throughout the 2022 season, Cam  Newton participated in Auburn's Pro Day to show football fans what he can still do on the field.

The whole event was covered by his younger brother Caylin Newton, who was very enthusiastic about the return of his older brother. The event at Auburns brought back many memories as it was the same place where he won the Heisman Trophy and a national championship in the 2010 season. Cam Newton, now 33 years old, was the 2015 NFL Most Valuable Player and his younger brother invited him to the Pro Day. His younger brother was a former quarterback at Howard, and he had finished his short college career at Auburn and William & Mary.

While speaking about the event which Cam Newton honored, Caylin Newton said his older brother was showing his love to him by honoring the invitation. Caylin also said Newton's stats are there, proving he still has much potential. "This was him showing love to me. He doesn't owe anybody anything. He has had an amazing journey, an amazing career in the NFL. He has nothing to prove to anybody. ... He came to show his ability, show he still has it," Caylin Newton said enthusiastically.

Cam Newton Open to Playing for a New Club

Caylin also quickly reminded the public that the footballer was open to playing for any organization that needed a new quarterback. It was obviously a promotion attempt as the Newton brother tried to sell his brother to the public. "I think, for him, this was a selfless act. But it was also to show and prove to everybody he's not sitting around. He's still got it. Whatever organization wants to get a winning quarterback, his number's still open and available," Caylin Newton added.

Although Cam Newton refused to comment on his participation, wide receiver Shedrick Jackson, who was part of the event, spoke about it. He said it was fun and happy to see Cam Newton playing at his best level again."That was fun. That was probably my most favorite part, just learning his lingo, seeing his cadence. He's got good touch on the ball. ... I think he's still got it," Jackson said.

Despite Cam Newton's super bowl loss in 2020, the quarterback is proving he can still return to any club of his choice. His younger brother has already commented on how it is very easy to criticize despite his older brother's efforts behind the scenes. "What everyone sees on the TV screen, they see his character, and they see his confidence. They don't see the grit. They don't see how many hours he puts in. So, the media has what they say about who he is. I know who he is. And anywhere he's been, they know who he is, too," Caylin added.

Some of the football clubs with ample chance of signing Cam Newton in the next transfer window would be the Lions, Packers, Ravens, Raiders, Titans, and Chiefs.
