In the latest report made by ESPN, it was confirmed that Aaron Rodgers gave the New York Jets a condition to choose his forward players in the team if they want him to play for them and lead the Jets. While it's understandable that a quarterback would naturally want to play with team members he feels comfortable around, controversies seem to have trailed the new "wishlist" as most of the players currently play for the Packers.

Who Is On Quarterback Player Aaron Rodgers ``WishList"?

Aaron Rodgers included the names of four players into his wishlist, and three of them currently play for the Packers. Here's everything you need to know about the players on Rodgers's list.

Allen Lazard

The 28-year-old wide receiver for Green Bay Packers, is a close friend of Rodgers and has had 169 catches in five seasons during his time with the Packers. Sources say that another NFL team, asides Jets, is looking to sign him, but Lazard is probably waiting to see what Rodgers would do.

"He's got to make the call for his future and a long-term deal, potentially. He'd love to continue to play with Rodgers, potentially, if it lines up", Mike Garafolo said on Monday.

Randall Cobb

American football player and wide receiver Randall Cobb is also believed to be one of Rodgers's closest friends, and the wide receiver recorded 34 catches for 417 yards last season. He's one of Packer's brightest players, and Rodgers agrees.

"I want the Randall Cobbs of the world if he wants to keep playing in my locker room. Guys you can win with," Rodgers said.

Mercedes Lewis

Mercedes Lewis is the third Packers player on Rodgers's list, and the 38-year-old seems to be neutral about deciding until Rodgers can finally make up his mind. The Las Vegas Raiders are also hunting the tight-end veteran who has had an amazing career in NFL.

The last name on Rodgers's wishlist causing much controversy is Odell Beckham Jr., a former Giants player. If Beckham agrees to play for the Jets, he would be hurting a lot of fans who loved him while he played for the Giants. Although the wide receiver has not played since 2021, reports say he is looking for a team willing to pay him $20 million per season to continue his career. It is still uncertain if the Jets will agree to his demands, but the ambitious 30-year-old seems to be talking with several other NFL teams.

It is no surprise the player is getting a lot of attention. He had an outstanding career as a three-time pro bowl selection with  531 catches for 7,367 yards and 56 touchdowns in 96 career games with the Giants, Browns, and Rams before he had injuries that forced him to take a break.

Fans and most NFL agents are eager to see if the Jets gives in to Rodgers's demand since his condition involves a change of their wide receiver's startup that would also come at a cost. New York Jets and Green Bay patiently await the 39-year-old decision ahead of the free agency window that begins on Wednesday.
