On Monday night, Neymar won nearly £31,000 playing roulette, which has helped him recover some of the money he lost during an expensive poker game last month.

Neymar is known for his passion for gambling and frequently participates in poker tournaments, where he challenges the world's top players. Additionally, he plays online when he is unable to attend in-person events. The Paris Saint-Germain striker has established himself as an avid gambler.

Last month, Neymar stirred up internet controversy after losing a whopping £880,000 in a single hour while playing poker on a Twitch live stream.

On social media, a video clip showed him pretending to cry and scream due to his misfortune. However, he eventually laughed it off. The significant amount of money he received was only equivalent to one week's pay for the 31-year-old.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Neymar appeared unfazed by his recent loss of nearly £1m as he returned to the same online casino on Monday evening to play roulette. He placed a multiple bet of £9,622 on three different numbers, winning £30,972 when one of his numbers came up as a winner.

Neymar has yet to recover the money he lost entirely, and he may face trouble with fellow PSG player Kylian Mbappe if he doesn't control his gambling behavior. However, there is still a considerable journey ahead for Neymar.

Amid increasing concerns over Neymar's personal life, the former Barcelona player was recently encouraged by his teammate to prioritize a healthy lifestyle, including sufficient sleep and proper nutrition.

After PSG's defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League in February, Neymar was spotted consuming McDonald's and participating in a poker tournament. This caused a great deal of disapproval from both fans and experts.

It is uncertain if Neymar will incur the disapproval of PSG chief Christophe Galtier or teammate Mbappe if he continues to exhibit similar behavior after the game. Still, Galtier chose not to denounce the Brazilian winger's actions.

Galtier stated that he would not link Kylian's statement to the photo of Ney in a fast-food restaurant. He had a conversation with Ney and shared his opinion.

On his day off, he is entitled to indulge in his passion for playing poker. I expressed my opinion on the recently released photograph to him. There is no room for misunderstanding.

Due to an ankle injury, Neymar is out of action and will continue receiving treatment until the summer hiatus. He is expected to return to the pitch before the commencement of the next season.

Throughout the campaign, he has netted 18 goals for PSG in various competitions and contributed 17 assists. However, it remains to be seen whether he can replicate these impressive figures in the future, particularly if any issues with Mbappe arise behind closed doors at the Parc des Princes.
